What is the one core value which you share with BainBridge Navigation? That it is the team that matters, not the individual!
What is your role & responsibilities at BainBridge Navigation? I am the commercial Director of the Bainbridge Hamburg Office where we are setting up the first European branch of Bainbridge Navigation.
What did you learn while working with BainBridge Navigation? I only started but I learned that there is a lot of respect for every member of the organisation which I value a lot.
Share a fun and interesting story from work? My first ever competitive fixture was a ropax ferry of Mr Grimaldi. When his subs where due, his secretary told me that I would have to fly to Genua to meet Mr. Grimaldi in person in order to “receive” my subs. So I thought: oh this is gonna be nice everytime subs are due I fly to a nice place to have a wonderful meal with the principal… ofc this was the only time this happened 😊
How do you spend your weekends? with my family and friends playing sports as well as taking care of old, vintage cars which is my passion.
If you can watch one movie, this weekend, what will it be? Shawshank redemption – one of the best movies of all time (I think)
Give one word to describe the work culture at BainBridge Navigation? Open-minded ( I hope that counts as one word 😊 )
What mantra will you give to a newcomer at BainBridge Navigation? Be open and don t hesitate to ask all the questions that come to your mind. Only that way you will benefit from a grown, strong team and become a part of it.
