What do you like most about your job?
Work-Life balance is a factor which most of the employees look for as we all want to give time to our personal fulfillments and growth. I love the great degree of control and freedom within my job which lets me have sufficient time for my personal commitments as well.

What is the one core value which you share with BainBridge Navigation?
Acceptance is the one core value that I share with BainBridge Navigation. During my stint here, I have seen how talent and competencies are accepted and encouraged to achieve more. Here, we only filter judgements and negativity, rest everything is accepted. Acceptance is a very crucial value for me, and this is what I have found here as well.

What is your role & responsibilities at BainBridge Navigation?
My current role is quite extensive as it covers recruitment, operational support, office administration, day-to-day tasks, and procurements. The diversity of my job is what makes it exciting. I am never on one table, you will always find me roaming from one place to another, solving problems as and when they come.

What did you learn while working with BainBridge Navigation?
My learnings in my current role start all the way from self-discipline, modesty, and operational support. All of these play a very prominent role to cater all departments which usually does not happen in other organizations. I am learning not one but many values both professionally and personally.

Share a fun and interesting story from work?
My journey here has been unique where I worked with all sorts if people. My best engagement has been with my Admin team, I have been working with very helpful and dedicated office boys who at times have been nuisance. There was an incident where the whole office operations were at halt as the keys were with one of the office boys who had not realized this at all and getting him to premises was one hell of a mission, I spent a few hours to keep people calm and appreciated their cooperation. That was one comical memory and we still fly few laughs on it.

How do you spend your weekends?
I am a mother and a wife and usually I have enormous things to look at or to arrange during weekends. It does get hectic, but I do get my slice of peace since my husband helps me in cooking and weekend tasks, that is where I get to breathe easy. Sundays are busy as I must catch up with family and friends. Even though weekends slip in blink of my eyes, the small moments I share with my child and my husband is what I cherish the most.

If you can watch one movie, this weekend, what will it be?
Well, it would rather be some left-over series from Netflix, and in particular it would be a movie called “A Beautiful Mind”. I have heard a lot about this film, and I am really looking forward to it.

Give one word to describe the work culture at BainBridge Navigation?
“Nurturing” tops my list because that is what we all share and have been provided. A comfortable space to grow and excel, a culture which gives opportunity to be curious, to do mistakes and eventually to grow.

What mantra will you give to a newcomer at BainBridge Navigation?
Determination is the word for any newcomer at our firm. If you have the potential and do perform your tasks with ease, you have a way to go in BainBridge Navigation. We do not want long conventional solutions. We are quick, smart, and competent.
