What is your role & responsibilities at BainBridge Navigation?
My typical job role and responsibilities is handling the Vendor desk. I ensure all brokerages and vendor payments are made well timed, weekly update of vessels; I accomplish this by taking weekly update from the operators weekly. Furthermore, my work involves maintaining all the updates for the payments made, by setting them down in excel. It also involves communicating with brokers and vendors internationally.
What did you learn while working with BainBridge Navigation?
Learning is a very big domain, every day we learn in our life. BainBridge being my first job, all my nuts-and-bolts learning are from here. But something that my job has taught me is always remember to look on the brighter side. Every day is not the best day, and some days can be downright challenging. The more we can improve our outlook and the less the small things affect us, the better we’ll be able to handle challenges in both our professional and personal life.
Share a fun and interesting story from work?
My Job is quite fun and interesting for me, but lunch time everyday is fun for me. We sit together wherein we share anything that is causing trouble or makes us happy. And everything turns lively and turns into a stress – buster for us.
How do you spend your weekends?
After a week full of work, fun and stress; weekends are all for me and about me. I try spending time with myself, take myself out, watch movies and sleep.
If you can watch one movie, this weekend, what will it be?
This weekend I will be starting a series F.R.I.E.N.D.S
