What do you like most about your job?
The most interesting part of my work is the kind of growth opportunities it brings to me as I navigate, managing challenges and providing solutions. It keeps me connected to the Shipping Industry which has always been my area of interest and what I have gained expertise on. The fact that my work is not monotonous but diverse is what I love the most.
What is the one core value which you share with BainBridge Navigation?
“Keeping a vigil eye towards goals and keeping a check on the key points”, is something I practice in my personal as well as professional life. I believe that there are few ground rules that you can never deny or cross and following those rules, you must keep moving towards your goals. This is exactly what BainBridge Navigation also stands for.
What is your role & responsibilities at BainBridge Navigation?
I handle operations of the fixture and monitor every small detail to make the best savings at the operational end which further contributes towards the monetary end. I investigate the key functions which can be optimized well within operations. My aim is to scale the outcome, but with lesser expenses and thus generating more revenue.
What did you learn while working with BainBridge Navigation?
I understood that teamwork and communication between each other lead to achieving the best result in most difficult conditions as well. My team functions with the motto of “Growing Together” and the only way to achieve that is by joining hands and practicing effective communication.
Share a fun and interesting story from work?
I remember once I could not find my lunch box and I was panicking. Later I realized that it was a prank, and my colleagues ordered a pizza for me, because I achieved something important at work. It turned out to be one great time.
How do you spend your weekends?
I spend my weekends either watching series or if I can go out, then probably I will explore nearby cafes and restaurants. I love eating out and trying new cuisines. But nowadays, I order food and I watch Netflix.
If you can watch one movie, this weekend, what will it be?
I think it will be “Peaky Blinders”, it has been on my watch list for a long time.
